My Mission
At Berry & Bean, my mission is to help exhausted parents navigate their little one’s sleep challenges, with the end result being a happy and rested household. This is achieved using my knowledge around the science of infant sleep and utilising gentle sleep methods. I only work towards YOUR goals, not what Google, AI or your friend around the corner says your baby should be doing!
My Approach
I use gentle and gradual changes, ensuring that you and your baby are comfortable at every step of the way. No cry it out! I listen to you and your goals - if you want to keep a night feed and not fully night wean, that’s what we’ll do! I provide achievable sleep solutions that fit in with you and your family. Each plan I create is bespoke and tailored to you and your baby. No generic sleep plan!
About Me
Hi! I’m Lauren, mum to two girls - Lyra (aka “Bean”), who was born in 2020 and Seren (aka “Berry”) who was born in 2024.
My interest in sleep consultancy began when Lyra was born. Having given birth at the height of the pandemic, I felt like I was thrown into this world of regressions, teething and naps (to name a few), with little support. As a first time mum I had no previous knowledge or experience, so I used to research endlessly to ensure we all got the rest we needed. I found the science behind baby and toddler sleep fascinating and quickly learned it hugely helped with Lyra’s sleep in those early days.
Enter Seren in February 2024, who had absolutely no interest in sleeping! When Seren was born, I was trying to navigate our new life overseas, and had very limited support, all while looking after a toddler! Doing this whilst sleep deprived meant my mental health was starting to suffer, so when Seren was 5 months old I reached out to a sleep consultant who genuinely changed my life.
It inspired me to do the same and really make a difference to parents out there who are surviving day to day in a sleep deprived fog. When Seren was 7 months old, I started my training to become a sleep consultant with The Sleep Academy and can now proudly say I am an OCN qualified infant sleep consultant.
At the heart of what I do is you and your baby - after all, you know your baby best! I only use gentle methods and will work with you to achieve YOUR goals for you and your baby.

An infant sleep consultant is a professional who specialises in identifying your baby’s current sleep challenges and helping you to resolve them, using gentle methods and solutions to suit your family. My approach is flexible and personalised, so no two plans are the same.

I do not use the “cry it out” or “controlled crying” method. There are many ways to facilitate better sleep and I focus on gentle and supportive methods. I cannot promise there will be no tears at all, as ultimately we will be making changes which your little one may protest to initially!

Absolutely! My approach is to always do whatever the parent and family are comfortable with - many parents do not want to completely drop feeds straight away and that is of course no problem. I will incorporate this into your personalised plan and will ensure you get longer stretches of sleep in-between those feeds.

I work with little ones from 5 months old up to 5 years of age. Whether it’s sleep regressions, nap transitions or bedtime battles with your toddler, I am here to help.

All babies are different, so it can vary. Some babies will take to the plan relatively quickly (night one or two) whereas others can take two weeks. By the end of the two weeks, the majority of my client’s will have reached the end of the plan and will have seen a significant improvement in sleep. My Big Sleep Package offers 1:1 support for three weeks, so that I can help you through that two weeks of the sleep plan, followed by another week of support to ensure things are going smoothly and everyone is happy.

Once we have had the initial discovery call, I will send you a sleep log to complete over the course of 3 days. Once I have had that back, we will have a one hour consultation to go through my observations and go over your personalised sleep plan. Then we can begin straight away!

Although I am from the UK, I can assist clients all over the world, so long as we can work out the time difference! A lot of my clients are based in South Africa for example - the beauty of technology.
